AT LAST 4 OUT OF 14 GOT MTS AFTER 15 YEARS FIGHT WITH ADMINISTRATION IN ANDHRA CIRCLE

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF ANDHRA CIRCLE ON LETHARGIC ATTITUDE OF AUTHORITIES TOWARDS CASUAL LABOUR.
A PROLONGED FIGHT FOR 15 YEARS ONLY GAVE JUSTICE TO THE EMPLOYEES.
After prolonged persuasion for 15 years even though orders were issued in 1989, the then Post Master General Visakhapatnam Sri. Udaya Balakrisnan issued orders converting part time casual labors into full time by combining the part time posts w.e.f 1-5-1998. After wards he was transferred.  Subsequently instead of giving temporary status authorities tried to convert them back to part time by saying that the orders are only for one time measure.
Out of 16 candidates Coms. P. Appala raju, B. Kanna rao, U.Ratna Kumari,J. Ekambaram, D. Kishore Babu & K.M. Sheriff approached hon’ble CAT HYDERABAD and filed OA NO.398/1998 IN WHICH JUDGEMENT WAS DELIVERED ON 25-11-1998 DIRECTING DEPARTMENT TO GIVE TEMPORARY STATUS TO THEM.
But authorities did not implement this and filed WRIT PETTETION IN AP HIGH COURT with WP. NO.17048/2000. HON’BLE HIGH COURT CONFIRMED THE JUDGEMENT OF CAT HYD, BAD AND DIRECTED DEPARTMENT TO IMPLIMENT THE SAME WITH IN THREE MONTHS.
But Department neither implemented the same nor approached APEX COURT against the judgment. After making many representations as there is no other alternative candidates were forced to file CONTEMPT PETTETION in CAT HYDERABAD IN 2011.
Then authorities hurriedly approached HONBLE SUPREME COURT AND FILED SLP. BUT APEX COURT DID NOT ALLOW THE SLP STATING THAT THERE IS NO MERITS IN THE ARGUMENTS OF DEPARTMENT.
Then because there is no other alternative to save their face orders were issued on paper granting them TEMPORARY STATUS. BUT NO BENEFITS ARE GIVEN TO THEM. EVEN W.OFF WAS NOT GRANTED TO THEM. NO STEPS WERE TAKEN FOR PAYMENT OF ARREARS TILL DATE.
AFTER INTERVENTION OF OUR UNION AND DISCUSSION WITH POST MASTER GENERAL VISAKHAPATNAM DPC WAS HELD AND 4 OUT OF THEM WERE SELECTED FOR MTS POSTS ON 3-2-2012.
THIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE FOR THE ATTITUDE OF AUTHORITIES TOWARDS CASUAL LABOUR WHO ARE THE LOWEST PAID EMPLOYEES AND DISCHARGING THEIR DUTIES WITH UTMOST LOYALTY.
EVERY ONE SHOWS SYMPATHY ON THEM BUT NO AUTHORITY IS RESPONDING POSITIVELY TOWARDS THEM. INSTEAD OF IMPLIMENTING ORDERS ALWAYS TRYING TO AVOID IMPLIMENTATION.
THIS IS THE ONE MORE EXAMPLE FOR THE DELAYED ACTIONS OF ADMINISTRATION.
WE APPEAL TO THE AUTHORITIES ATLEAST TO IMPLIMENT THE ORDERS IN EXISTENCE FOR THE CASUAL LABOURS.
